I bought the Strung-Coffee Tungsten with Guitar String ring from Foundoria as a tribute to my father-in-law, a man who spent most of his life with a musical instrument in his hands and, I suspect, a tune permanently stuck in his head. If there was a guitar within a 50-mile radius, he would find it, tune it, and probably improve the evening for everyone in the room.
So when I saw a ring with an actual guitar string running through it, it felt less like buying jewellery and more like buying a tiny wearable concert.
The ring itself is fantastic. The tungsten has that reassuring “I could probably survive a small meteor strike” weight to it, and the coffee-coloured finish gives it a classy look without screaming “rock star trying too hard.” Then there’s the guitar string inside, which is such a brilliant touch that every time I look at it I half expect it to start playing a blues riff.
It’s subtle enough that most people don’t notice it at first… and then when they do, they lean in closer like they’ve discovered some secret Easter egg.
But the best part is the meaning behind it. Wearing it feels like carrying a little reminder of my father-in-law’s lifelong soundtrack — the countless songs, late-night strumming sessions, and the general belief that life is better when someone picks up a guitar.

I recently bought the Aurin-Black Tungsten Ring with Rose Gold and I must say, it’s dangerously good-looking.
The ring itself is absolutely beautiful — the black tungsten with the rose gold detail looks fantastic. It fits perfectly too, which is impressive considering my previous attempt at measuring my finger involved a bit of string, a ruler, and a strong sense of optimism.
Customer service was spot on — quick, friendly, and actually helpful (which in today’s world almost deserves a medal).
The only downside is that I now seem to spend a surprising amount of time admiring my own hand like a Victorian aristocrat who’s just discovered jewellery. If you catch me casually resting my hand on tables so the ring is visible… no you didn’t.
All in all, I’m absolutely chuffed with it. Lovely ring, great service, and I’d happily recommend Foundoris to anyone looking for something that makes their hand look significantly more sophisticated than the rest of them.
